Ingredients

Cake:

1 1/2 sifted flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup butter or margarine

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg well beaten

Crumb Mixture:

3/4 pound margarine melted and cooled (3 sticks)

4 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 or 2 tablespoons cinnamon

Preparation

Cake:

Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add shortening and cut in with a pastry blender. Add eggs, milk and vanilla and just stir until wet, batter should be lumpy. Spread in a greased 15x10 jelly roll pan. Top with following crumb mixture.

Crumb Mixture:

Mix dry ingredients together, add margarine, mix by hand, forming big crumbs, do not over mix.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
