Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 cup uncooked oats

1/4 cup unprocessed bran

1 tbsp baking powder

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1 egg, beaten

1 cup milk

1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

2 tbsp salad oil

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup toasted chopped almonds

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400. Grease twelve 2.5" muffin-pan cups. In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, bran, baking powder, cinnamon salt and nutmeg. In mixer bowl, beat egg, milk, brown sugar, oil, and vanilla; add to oat mixture and stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in almonds. Spoon batter into prepared cups and bake 20 minutes or until finished.
