Ingredients

1 TBSP Butter

1/4 cup orange juice

1 cup sugar

2 cups pecan halves

Preparation

1.Butter a large cookie sheet 2. Using a 2 quart baking dish, pour OJ into sugar, and mix well, stir in pecans. Cover with plastic wrap, but leave a corner open to vent. 3.Microwave on medium for 6 minutes. Stir and continue to cook on medium 4 to 6 minutes until the syrup crystallizes. (Check after 4 minutes and each minute thereafter). 4.As soon as it’s crystallized, spread glazed nuts on the buttered cookie sheet evenly, seperating the nuts. Let it cool completely. Add salt to taste.
