Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

3/4 cup rice vinegar

Cucumbers

Preparation

Combine sugar, water and vinegar in saucepan. Cook over medium high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Does not need to come to a boil. Cool and store in fridge.

For salad, slice and quarter cucumbers, add sauce (don’t need a ton). Garnish with red pepper slivers if desired.
