Ingredients

1 English cucumber

or 4-5 Persian cucumbers

1/2-1 lemon (always use the real thing never the store bought juice)

salt and pepper to taste

grapeseed oil or extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

Wash, partially peel and slice cucumbers and place in bowl or arrange neatly on a large plate. You can peel the cucumber entirely. I just leave a little on for nutrition reasons and for color. Squeeze juice of lemon, being careful not to allow any seeds to fall in. Sprinkle in salt and pepper to taste. Then at the end, drizzle a little grapeseed oil (or extra virgin olive oil) over the cucumber.

You can mix the ingredients at this point, or if they are arranged on the plate, they’ll get mixed at the dinner table.
