Ingredients

1 tsp. oil

1 cup peanuts

cashews or cooked chickpeas. 1/2 tsp. cumin

1/4 tsp. turmeric

1/8 tsp. cayenne

a couple pinches of salt.

Preparation

toss nuts with oil in pan to coat. put spices in and stir to coat well, add salt to taste. Cook over low heat until nuts are toasty but not burned. Spread over paper towel on a plate to cool.
