Ingredients

2 1/2 cans chick peas

1/4 cup olive oil

2 lemons

1/3 cup warm water

1/3 cup tahini or sesame paste

6-8 cloves of garlic

salt and pepper (to taste)

tabasco, onions, and

tomatoes (optional)

: garlic salt, olive oil, balsamic

vinegar, paprika :

Preparation

Using a food processor combine the chick peas, tahini, water, olive oil, and the juice of one lemon. Mix well.

Then add the juice of the other lemon and the 6-8 cloves of garlic into the blend and mix well.

After mixing, the the hummus out of the processor and put it into a bowl. Add the salt and pita to taste, and (OPTIONAL) add the tabasco sauce, onions, and tomatoes. (OPTIONAL) When serving, sprinkle the garlic salt and paprika onto the hummus. Then put a small pool of olive oil and balsamic vinegar in the center.
