Ingredients
1/4 c butter
1/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 c chicken broth
1 c heavy whipping cream
2 tbl sherry
1 pkg spaghetti (~12 oz. more is ok.)
2 c turkey (or chicken) cubed
3 oz mushrooms
1/2 c grated parmesan (plus 1/2 c shredded on top)
Preparation
preheat oven to 350 break spaghetti in half (for ease of mixing with sauce later and boil until just al dente. meanwhile… blend flour and dry stuff melt butter in deep pan and add the dry stuff cook over low heat, stirring until completely smooth and bubbly stir in broth and cream, increase temp and boil, stirring constantly stir in sherry, mushrooms, 1/2 c parmesan, and turkey combine sauce with spaghetti and pour into an ungreased 2 qt casserole top with 1/2 c shredded parmesan bake 30 min or until bubbly and cheese has melted and just browned don’t eat for a day afterwards because you gorged on your favorite comfort food again.
