Ingredients
12 Jalapeño peppers
8 oz cream cheese
Garlic powder (not salt) to taste
Onion powder to taste
1/2 cup Asiago cheese, shredded
1 package thick bacon
Preparation
Slice open the peppers, being very careful to make sure all seeds and veins are removed. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Asiago cheese. Taste the mixture and add garlic powder or onion powder as needed. It should be thick. Stuff the mixture into peppers and wrap with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Grill until the bacon is cooked.
