Ingredients

1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup vodka (try pepper flavored)

3 tablespoons coarse sea salt

1 tablespoon lemon pepper

Preparation

  1. Prick each tomato with a skewer or toothpick 5 or 6 times.
  2. Place the tomatoes in a small bowl and pour the vodka over them.
  3. Soak the tomatoes in the vodka, stirring occasionally, for 2 hours or overnight.
  4. To serve, place the tomatoes in a serving bowl (or martini glasses). In a separate small bowl, combine the salt, and lemon pepper.
  5. Serve the tomatoes with toothpicks and with the seasoning mixture in the side.
