Ingredients
21/4 cups flour
1/4 cup fine semolina
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or vegetable oil
Dash of orange blossom water
Dash of rose water
1 teaspoon baking powder
dash of salt
2 cups date
2 tablespoons butter
Preparation
For the dough, put all ingredients togather and knead it until it becomes a dough, add milk if need more. Leave to rest for a couple of hours.
Put date and butter in a pan on very low heat until soft
fill date between two layers of dough in a square pan
Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake until set
cut into rectangles and serve.
