Ingredients

7 lbs. chicken wings

1 cup vegetable oil

juice of 2 lemons

2 cloves garlic, diced

1/3 cup red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon salt

1-1/2 teaspoons black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 cup mesquite wood chips

3/4 cup barbecue sauce

Preparation

Stir all ingredients (except chicken) in a large bowl. Add chicken and marinate for 2 to 3 hours. Cover and chill while marinating. Soak mesquite wood chips in water for 30 minutes. Preheat grill to 400 degrees then add damp wood chips to smoker box. Remove chicken and drain off excess marinade. Grill wings about 10 minutes per side. Brush on barbecue sauce during final 5 minutes of grilling time.
