Ingredients
Cream together:
½ cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1t. vanilla
½ t. salt
Add:
2 cups flour (sifted)
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
½ pint sour cream
Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
2 T. flour
2 T. butter
¾ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
Add ½ of batter to lightly greased bundt pan, layer ½ of topping. Add rest of batter & topping. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
