Ingredients

Sauce

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup Ketchup

1/2 cup or 1/4 cup Pickle Juice

1/4 cup Soy Sauce

1 tbsp. all purpose Flour

Meat

1 lb Hamburg

1 egg

1/2 Onion finely chopped

1/2 Green Pepper finely chopped

3/4 cup of non salted soda crackers

Preparation

*Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Celsius

  1. In a medium sized pot, bring to boil the brown sugar, ketchup, pickle juice, soy sauce, and flour.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened.

While sauce is thickening,

  1. Mix together hamburg, egg, onion, green pepper and crackers. Form into medium sized balls.

  2. Place in casserole dish, and cook in oven until browned.

  3. Pour sauce over meatballs, and cook again until done.
