Ingredients
1 pound raw shelled and deveined shrimp (any size is fine)
1 can plain artichoke hearts,drained and cut in quarters
2 T. bertolli olive oil
1 T. unsalted butter
2-3 cloves garlic chopped fine
2 T. parley well chopped
1 T. chopped chives
1/4 t. cayenne
juice of 1 - 1 1/2 lemons
8 oz whole wheat pasta cooked in well salted water
Preparation
Heat oil and butter until just hot, Add garlic parsley, chives, cayenne and saute about 2 minutes, add lemon, artichoke and shrimp, saute until shrimp are just done. Serve at once placing shrim pand artichokes on the pasta first and then dividing up the juices and pouring over the pasta.
