Ingredients
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 lb. Jimmy Dean sausage,
maple flavored
2 eggs
½ c. diced yellow onions
1/3 c. heavy cream
1 c. cracker crumbs (small)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp ground oregano
1 c. parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
For the glaze:
¾ c. pepper jelly (any flavor)
1 tbsp ground cumin
Dash Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp honey
Preparation
Mix everything together by hand, mixing well, but do not overmix. Place in greased glass loaf pan, being sure to force out any remaining air pockets. Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes at 350°. Spread top with glaze during last 30 minutes of cooking time. When done, remove from oven, drain any fat from pan, let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
