Ingredients

One medium onion

One clove of garlic

whole chicken or stew beef

4 med tomatoes

Silsi - *Ethiopian 7 pepper mix

Berber powder - *Ethiopian pepper

olive oil - 2Tbs

butter - 4 Tbs

eggs - 6

salt to taste

Preparation

Take one medium onion and chop and cook slowly in a dry pan Add One whole clove garlic and slow cook them together Add 2 Tbls olive oil and 4 Tbls butter and then sauté together Blanch 4 tomatoes remove skin and shop up and add to onion mix Then add 3 heaping Tbls of “berber” and water to make watery stew Then add 1/2 Tbls “silsi” and salt to taste Then add cut up chicken or sautéed beef and cook for one hour until cooked through Boil whole eggs and add to stew whole continue cooking for about 30 minutes - then let sit for flavors to set Serve with Ingera
