Ingredients
1 can chick peas
1 can butter beans
1 can red beans
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 tsp ginger (minced)
1/2 cup diced onion
2 tbs pimentoes diced(seasoning pepper)
3 tbs mixed herbs (cilantro, chives, celery, parsley,tyme)
Marinade
2/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
hot pepper to taste
Preparation
Open cans. drain each and rinse throughly under water. Place in medium saute pan /bowl, mix in all other ingredients. PREPARE MARINADE Blend all ingredients and add to beans. Marinate for 4-6 hrs if this is not possible then gently simmer for 2-5 minutes or until warmed through remove from heat and allow to cool. Adjust salt and pepper Serve hot or cold
