Ingredients
1 brick of tofu (cut into 1/2 inch thick slices)
Teriyaki sauce
Spelt flower
Sesame seeds
2 cups uncooked whole grain rice
Virgin Olive Oil
Preparation
Cook rice per instructions (equal parts rice and water)
Cover tofu slices in shallow dish with teriyaki sauce and marinate for 15 minutes
In a small frying pan add two table spoons of olive oil and heat on medium. When oil begins to bubble, dip tofu into spelt flour and then sesame seeds and drop into pan. Cook tofu until golden brown, do not over cook as tofu will lose its teriyaki flavor.
Serve over rice and add teriyaki or soy sauce to taste.
