Ingredients
5-10 tomatoes (depending on size)
3 bell peppers (I like using different colors)
1 large red onion
2-3 jalapeno peppers (or 1 small habanero)
1 bunch cilantro (leaves removed and stems discarded)
3 tbsp. lime juice
3 tbsp. lemon juice
Large pinch of garlic salt and pepper to taste
Pinch of sumac
Preparation
Char tomatoes and peppers (optional) Dice tomatoes, onion, and peppers (you can do this in the cuisinart but I prefer to hand chop) Roughly chop the cilantro Combine chopped ingredients in a bowl and squeeze the lemon and lime juice over the top Add the garlic salt, pepper, and sumac and mix all ingredients together Serve with freshly made tortilla chips.
