Ingredients

Crust:

1 1/3 c flour

1Tbls sugar

Filling:

2 eggs

1 c brown sugar

1t vanilla

1c shredded coconut

2/3 c walnuts (optional)

1/4 c glazed cherries; snipped

3 Tbls flour

1 t baking powder

pinch of salt

Icing:

1/4 c butter

2 1/2 c icing sugar

3 Tbls cream

Preparation

Crust: combine flour and sugar cut in butter press firmly onto buttered 12" square pan bake for 20 min at 350

Filling: beat eggs; gradually adding sugar and vanilla sift flour, baking powder and salt add to sugar mixture add remaining ingredients spread over cooled crust and return to lowered oven (300) for 25-30 minutes until set and top is lightly browned

Icing: cream butter; add icing sugar alternatively with cream spread over cooled cake
