Ingredients
2 strips bacon, diced
1 lb dried pinto beans, soaked overnight
1 C cilantro leaves chopped
4 chipotely chiles
1 T dried oregano
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp salt
1 bottle beer
water
Preparation
In a small saucepan, brown bacon pieces. Add to crock pot with all other ingredients, stir to combine and add water to cover beans completely. Cook on low for 6 hours. Remove chiles before serving
