Ingredients
1 yellow cake box mix
1 20-oz can crushed pineapple
1 21-oz can cherry (or raspberry or whatever) pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup (1 stick) sliced butter
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350
- Grease a 13x9x2 inch pan
- Dump undrained pineapple into pan, spread evenly
- Dump pie filling over pineapple, spread evenly
- Dump dry cake mix onto pie filling layer, spread evenly
- Sprinkle pecans over cake mix
- Place butter slices evenly on top
- Bake 48 - 53 minutes
