Ingredients
4 eggs
1 T sugar
1/2 t salt
2/3 c sifted flour
2/3 c milk
2 T softened butter
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400℉.
Butter 2 9" cake pans. Whisk eggs until light yellow in color. Add remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Pour into prepared pans and bake 20 minutes. Reduce head to 350℉; and bake 10 more minutes.
Serve with lemon slices, powdered sugar & butter; or with raspberry syrup; or with maple syrup and fresh berries.
