Ingredients

1 ref pie crust

3/4 c sugar

2 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

4 c peeled, thinly sliced apples (4 med apples)

1 egg white, lightly beaten

1 tsp sugar for glaze

Preparation

Prepare crust as direct on pkg, place on foil-lined baking sheet. Press out any folds. Mix 2/4 sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Toss with apples. Spoon into center of crust, spreading to within 2 inches of edges. Fold 2" egde of crust over applies, pleating crust as needed. Brush crust with egg white; sprinkle with 1 tsp sugar. Bake in prepeated 425 oven for 20 min until aples are tender. Cool slightly before serving.
