bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)

cup corn syrup

teaspoon peppermint or almond extract

teaspoon vanilla

(6x6-inch) pieces clear plastic wrap or waxed paper
Preparation
Line 9x5-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap.
In 2-quart saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add corn syrup, extract and vanilla; mix well. Quickly pour into pan; spread evenly.
Refrigerate uncovered about 30 minutes or until firm. Cut chews into 9 rows by 4 rows for 36 square pieces.
Place 1 chew in center of 1 end of individual plastic wrap square; roll up, folding up and twisting ends. Repeat to use up chews.
