Ingredients
Base
1/2 cup butter
5 tablespoon cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 cup chopped coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cups crushed graham crackers
Custard Filling
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding
2 cups powdered sugar
Topping
1 package chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
Preparation
Base Place butter in top of double boiler. Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla and egg. Stir until butter has melted and mixture resembles custard. Combine coconut, nuts and graham crackers. Blend well and add to custard mixture. Pack into a 9 inch square pan and chill.
Custard Filling Cream butter. Add milk and pudding together and add to butter and powdered sugar. Mix. Spread over chocolate base. Refrigerate 15 minutes or more to harden.
Topping Melt chocolate chips and butter. Spread over bars and cool. Cut into small squares.
