Ingredients

2 Cups Wondra Flour

1 C Powdered Sugar

1 3/4 sticks softened butter

1 pkg. vanilla sugar

2 egg yolks

1 tsp baking powder

Favorite jam or jelly such as Raspberry or Current

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients with hands until crumbly. Form into 2 flat rounds and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  2. Flour wax paper or silpat, dough round and rolling pin. Roll out until about 1/8 to 1/4 in thick.
  3. Cut out shapes with cookie cutter. Make a small hole in the center of 1/2 the cookies so that the jam shows through.
  4. Bake for 6-9 minutes at 350 degrees. ( The smaller the cookie cutter the shorter the time).
  5. Cool cookies and coat one 1 with jam, current jelly and place other cookie on top.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
