Ingredients

4 Eggs

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 Tbsp sugar

Pinch salt

1 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 Tbsp melted butter

1/8 tsp nutmeg

4 Tbsp butter

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1 large granny smith apple

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425F Batter With plastic knife in food processor, blend first five ingredients 6 on/off turns.

With machine running add milk gradually. Add vanilla, butter and nutmeg for 3 on/off turns.

Let stand 30 min or overnight

Fruit With the serrated slicer, slice apples. Brush oven proof skillet with melted butter, sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/8 tsp nutmeg

Spread apples into pan. Add remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Place over medium high heat until mixture boils. Pour batter over apples Bake 425 F for 15 minutes then 375F for 10 min Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
