Ingredients
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup crushed crackers
1 1/2 lb ground beef
2 Tbsp onion, finely chopped
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into a loaf. Bake in bread pan or shallow baking pan at 350 for 60 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
Tip: Sandra always cooked her meat loaf with a topping of catsup & brown sugar.
Makes good meatloaf sandwiches since it doesn’t crumble apart.
