Ingredients

French or Italian bread cut into small pieces

Cooked ham

7-8 eggs

Milk

1/2 tsp. mustard

Melted butter

Preparation

In a 9 x 13 pyrex dish (or whatever size you want to use), melt a little butter to cover bottom or dish. Then add a layer of cut up french or italian bread (small pieces). Next add a layer of cut up cooked ham (or bacon bits). Then layer with shredded cheddar cheese. In a bowl, mix about 7-8 eggs with some milk and a 1/2 tsp. mustard. Whisk together good (using a whisk that looks just like the one in Keith’s drawing!) Pour this mixture evenly over the dish–it will look like it’s not enough, but it will rise during cooking. You can let sit overnight or if you don’t have time, bake right away. Bake uncovered at 350’ for about 30-35 min. til bubbly.
