Ingredients
8 eggs separated
2 pints heavy whipping cream
1 quart milk
1 pint half and half
1/2 cup sugar
1 pint cognac
1/2 pint dark rum
1 cup bourbon
Preparation
Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy-while constantly beating, add cognac sugar and rum and bourbon-Beat egg whites until stiff Fold in egg whites
Want to cook the yolks: Pour Cream, milk and half and half into heavy medium saucepan. Bring to simmer. put sugar in a bowl and add egg; whisk until well blended. Gradually whisk hot milk mixture INTO egg mixture. Return to same saucepan; whisk over medium heat until sauce thickens about 5 minutes
You can also replace the egg white with one gallon of ice cream
