Ingredients
Bread, 4 slices
Milk, 4 oz
Eggs, two large
Butter, 1 oz
Preparation
Beat the eggs in a jug. Add milk and mix well. Pour the mixture into a large, shallow, flat-bottomed bowl. Prepare a frying pan with a little butter. Soak each slice of bread in the mixture for 10 seconds on each side, then transfer to frying pan. Fry for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Eat while hot.
