Preparation

Assuming a TJ’s mustard jar: Pour about a quarter cup of olive oil and about an eight cup vinegar into the “empty” mustard jar. Add one or more whole cloves of garlic, some salt and freshly ground black pepper Put on lid and shake vigorously. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding sugar if necessary. You should end up with a deliciously mustard-y clsssic vinaigrette. If you don’t have an “empty” mustard jar handy, use about a teaspoon of mustard to substitute.
