Ingredients
1 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
3 tablespoons sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tablespoon yeast
1/4 cup water
3 cups flour
Preparation
Scald milk. Pour milk over salt, shortening, and sugar and let cool.
Add eggs.
Dissolve yeast in water. Stir this into milk/egg mixture.
Add flour. Let rise several times - at least twice. Fill pans 2/3 full. Let rise again.
Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
