Ingredients
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
Mix in a mixer:
Margarine and shortening.
Add sugar and eggs.
In separate bowls:
Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder, and
Buttermilk, vanilla, and lemon
Add these mixtures alternately in the mixer.
Beat for 10 minutes after mixing.
Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Let cool for 10 minutes before removing.
