Ingredients
2 lbs. beef flank steak
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons orange juice
3 tablespoons lime juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
2 teaspoons grated lime peel
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Durkee grill Sensations smokey mesquite seasoning
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
shredded orange peel
shredded lime peel
Preparation
Score both sides of beef
Combine sugar, juices, garlic, grated peels, salt, peppers and cinnamon in 2 quart glass dish
Add beef, turn to coat
Conver and refrigerate beef at least 2 hours, preferably overnight
Remove beef from marinade
Grill or pan sear approximately six minutes each side for medium-rare or until cooked as desired.
Garnisk with shredded orange and lime peels
