Ingredients
5 eggs, room temperature
1 8 oz package cream cheese, room temperature
2/3 cup white sugar,
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
12 oz evaporated milk
2 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Carefully carmelize 1/3 cup sugar in a standard-sized loaf pan, coating bottom and sides of pan. Blend eggs and cream cheese well, add next 1/3 cup white sugar and blend. Add 14 oz sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk and mix well. Add vanilla. Pour mixture in to loaf pan. Place in pan with at least one inch of water. Bake at 350 degrees for up to one hour. Test for doneness by poking with clean knife. Flan is finished when knife comes out clean. Note: If using glass loaf dish, bake at 325 degrees.
