Ingredients

3 pounds Ground Round

11/2 cupsp chopped onion

1 green bell pepper,chopped

1 red bell pepper, chopped

3 cloves minced garlic

1 30-32 ounces Beef broth

2 16 ounce cans diced petite tomatoes

4 large potatoes diced

1 pound baby carrots cut in half crosswise

4 stalks celery sliced

1 16 ounce can cut green beans (or fresh if you have them)

1 16 ounce can whole kernel corn

Salt & Pepper to taste.

Bay Leaf if you like

Beef Boullion or more broth if needed for flavor.

Water as needed

Added Note:

Cabbage is very good added this recipe at the same time as the corn and beans, if you like. Then cook till cabbage is done.

Preparation

In an 8 quart pot, brown ground beef with onion, bell peppers, garlic till beef is brown and veggies are soft. Add tomatoes and 2 cans of water,bay leaf, add beef broth. Cook about 30 minutes to infuse flavors. Add carrots, potatoes, celery, cook till done then add green beans and corn. Return to boil. Serve.
