Ingredients
1 7 to 8 lb pork butt roast
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup coarse salt
Black pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
7 TLBS brown sugar
Preparation
Mix cup of White granulated sugar and salt together and rub on pork. Put in pan and cover with plastic wrap over night or at least 8 hours in fridge. Brush salt and sugar off with paper towel. Sprinkle with garlic and onion powder. And black pepper. Put in roasting pan on rack and cook on 300 degrees for 6 to 7 hours until very tendor. Baste every hour with juices from roast. When done rub 7 tlbs of brown sugar on roast and cook on 500 degrees for 10 min. Serve on buns with vinegar slaw.
