Ingredients
2 tbsp oil
3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds, crushed
1/4 tsp red chili
9-12 oz green beans
2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
salt
chaat masala or ground cumin
Preparation
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add garlic, onion and cumin and saute for a few minutes. Add the chili. When onion turn opaque, add beans. Toss until cooked but crisp, add the salt and the tomatoes. Keep on heat until tomatoes are warmed through. Remove from heat and add cilantro and season to taste.
Sprinkle chaat or cumin before serving.
