Ingredients

1 stick butter, softened

1 stick margarine, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup flour

1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats

confectioners’ sugar

Preparation

In a large bowl with an electric mixer cream together the butter, margarine and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in flour and oats. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls and arrange on a ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten the balls with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool and dust with confectioners’ sugar.
