Ingredients

2 T fermented black beans

3 T water

1 T oyster sauce

1 tsp soy sauce

2 tsp minced shallot or onion

1 tsp grated lemon peel

1/4 tsp sesame oil

1/4 tsp fine white pepper

1/8 tsp sugar

2 T plus 1 1/2 tsp fine red bell pepper

2 T pluse 1 1/2 tsp fine green bell pepper

Preparation

Soak beans in cold water to cover for 20 mins. Rinse & drain beans well. Puree in mortar w/pestle. Mix in water. Combine with oyster sauce, shallot, soy, lem peel, ses oil, pepper & sugar in small bowl. Combine pepper in another bowl. Heat Pour all over veggies, fish, etc.
