(9-oz.) pkg. refrigerated fettuccine

lb. lean ground beef

green bell pepper, cut into thin bite-sized strips

red bell pepper, cut into thin bite-sized strips

1/2

cup half-and-half

1/3

cup purchased pesto

1/2

teaspoon salt

1/8

teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Cook fettuccine to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.

Meanwhile, brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.

Add bell peppers; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes or until peppers are crisp-tender.

Add half-and-half, pesto, salt, pepper and cooked fettuccine. Reduce heat to medium; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
